Tom is busy full-time as a writer and photographer. He has published three to four articles a year since 2000. His focus is nature, wild life and travel. He also writes about and photographs underwater subjects. In the past few years he has been to Costa Rica, Honduras, China, Venezuela, Indonesia (Several places), Kenya, Tanzania, Grenada, Utila, Venezuela, Uruguay, Columbia, Mexico, Ecuador and East Timor.
Tom’s first camera was a Kodak Brownie forty some years ago. He has carried a camera since then and is currently attempting to make a living with it.
As well as doing photography he also does printing for other photographers needing 24 inch wide prints.
His wildlife articles have been published in Nature Photographer as well as several local and private publications. His underwater articles appear in Advanced Diver Magazine.
Tom’s images have appeared in DAN's Alert Diver and in National Wildlife Refuge brochures. Hundreds of his photos are in private collections.
He has lead groups of photographers to Kenya, Tanzania and China. A trip is planned for China in October 2009. And, a trip to Botswana in 2010 is in the works.
He also has a Ph.D. in management from Purdue and ran a highly successful organization consulting practice in another life. |
