Charles R. Anderson's interest for the Arts emerged at a very young age. In his early works, Charles' main medium was ink, then, while attending the University of Florida, Charles changed to oils. The past few years Charles has been trying his hand at Mixed Media.
Moving to the Grand Cayman Islands nine years ago, his love for the islands has since inspired his work. "Sea Escape" was premiered at the National Gallery for Cayfest 2006, as well as the peices "Harmony", "Isla of Tortuga" and "Island Treasures" in 2008 - where Charles was given the 'Artistic Endeavour Award'.
His works on display at the MISSION: Beautification Project Gallery are part of the "Reflections of the Seas" collection which Charles created in the fall of 2008. |
